Pennsylvania (maybe)? (Pittsburgh, Reading, Lancaster: live, gym, suburbs)

I am a Naval Reservist doing a tour in Afghanistan. Originally from New Jersey I love the east coast, and, after this tour is over I want to work for a gym then start my own personal fitness business. I am doing research on a number of states (Texas, Washinton, Virginia) but my heart is in the east. Not going back to Jersey but have always loved Penn. Any thoughts of comments?

My wife is from Pittsburgh and we met in PA, so PA has a special place in my heart. Curious to know what specifically you like about the East. Always good to get this perspective.

We're thinking about heading back that way ourselves.

I like the outdoors and the changing seasons (especially the fall when everything is ablaze). Since my young years where spent in New Jersey (Montclair) and I had a particularly happy childhood very pleasant memories are associated with that area. Spent time in Philly and Reading. Like the architecture of the Philly residential suburbs. I guess I am just into old things and Pa. has towns and cities with some history behind them. Love going to Lancaster county and going to the farmers markets. And the food!!! Thank God I work out every day. If I didn't and lived in Lancaster I would be as big as a house.
