Post anyone have information on York Haven area?

Hi everyone

I've already asked this, but I got no replies, so I figured I'd try one more time. We're going to look at a house in York haven tomorrow afternoon and I'd really like your opinions on the area.
Some people from work have told me it's a "redneck" type town but i was wondering if anyone had any other insights? I've got all the information on schools and shopping and stuff, but I'd like a better idea of what the people are like and what kind of attitude the town has.
Any information or opinions would be great or any other resources you have!

Thanks!
Steph

The town is not "upscale" or "happening". It is a small town with a library, a fire company, several churches, and some stores. It is riverfront and has several fishing spots and parks. I live near the area and would say from person experience that it is a nice place. Also, many of the residents seem to like their community.

tremontpa, thank you so much for actually replying. From what i've seen you're exactly right. It is definitely a small town, but it's cute, and definitely what we're going for. And you never know, if Manchester gets biult up, in a few years it might have a bit more to it.
Thanks again for your reply, you were the only one!
