Exclamation Nature vs. Nurture

Do you believe that we are who we are because of the circumstances that we each grew up in, or that our parents have engrained who they themselves are into our beings as people? Do you believe that religious views are more-so based on what we ourselves feel or what are parents decided was best for us as there children?

Not that this post seems relevant to the PA forum, but I believe it is both nature and nurture. A study from Queensland Australia found that identical twins where one is gay, usually the other is not. Therefore, many of our most intimate attributes cannot be absolutely attributed to genetics. On the other hand, Einstein had enlarged frontal lobes in his brain--areas that aid spatial reasoning. Thus, we are very much unique in the way we're made. I think our genes provide a range of potential for each one of us--neither are we rigidly set in stone, nor do we have the potential to be anything in any field.
