Kickapoo Joy Juice was my favorite but I haven't seen it at least 30 years. Suburban Club Grape was great until Pepsi bought out the company and watered it down.

Since most companies switched to HFCS, I rarely drink the stuff anymore. I remember how real Coke tasted. I don't care what people say, it was much better when it was made with cane sugar.

I did find one brand that is still made with cane sugar. It's called "Jones" but it's made on the west coast and hard to find locally. I tried some cola a few weeks ago that was excellent. It costs more than the mass produced stuff though.

Actually in the Mansfield/Wellsboro/Williamsport area I can easily find Jones soda. Check Wal mart as my local supercenter has it in the bottled water/tea section. Also my local Weis has it as well. Also I know Wegmans has it in bottles.

Default Jones

Jones makes a line of retro diet sodas like Black Cherry, Creme, etc. Takes me back to my childhood and they're very good, no nasty aftertaste and if you can't take the sugar, they're worth trying.

Default Everything in moderation....

.. is my mantra. I'll have soda (or pop) every once in a while and no where near a "regular basis".

Pepsi and Pepsi products are my preferrred favorite. I also like Birch Beer and Black Cherry.

I cannot and will not drink diet sodas. This is my thinking.... HFCS may not be the best for you, but at least your body knows what to do with it. As for the artificial sweetners ... they're chemicals that your body doesn't necessarily know how to handle so why put them in your body (except obvious conditions like diabetes)? A little sugar (moderation) can be burned off by exercise and is not detrimental to one's health.
