Default Favorite mid-sized PA city skyline?

What is everyone's favorite mid-sized PA downtown skyline? I left out Philly and Pittsburgh because obviously no other PA city could compare to them. See pictures below:

Scranton

Wilkes-Barre

Harrisburg

Allentown

Bethlehem

Reading

York

Lancaster

Johnstown

Altoona

Erie

My favorite is definitely Harrisburg. The Capitol building really adds to the city's skyline and the river rounds it out. I also like the "Fulton Bank" sign at night.

I agree..the state capitol and the setting on the river make it look pretty good, especially for a city of under 50,000 people. Wilkes-Barre also has a pretty impressive skyline for a city of 40,000 or so. Allentown's is puny considering it has a population of over 100,000.

I liked Readings. It felt like a real city downtown.

Altoona's is kind of too small. All you have is the hospital.

Erie never really had much of a skyline, except for the Baldwin Building (far left) and the cathedral (pointy thing in the middle). The Bicentennial Tower on Dobbin's Landing (far right) adds a little, but it still ain't much. Of course, it's a lousy picture (no insult intended to the original photographer -- looks like a murky day); on a sunny, clear day everything looks much better.

Johnstown is cool-looking from atop the hills surrounding it, but what you see isn't really a skyline is it? Still, it's the neatest looking picture of all of them.

Suprisingly, I couldn't find a decent picture of downtown Erie....there really weren't many on Google.

I voted for five of them: Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Harrisburg, Reading, and Bethlehem. Allentown could definitely do a lot better for its relatively larger size.

Guess I'll have to get my camera out next time I'm visiting Mom -- if it's a nice day!

I don't think any of those pictures do these cities justice. My own city "Wilkes-Barre" looks much more impressive when looking down on the city from atop of "coal st" (a major road leading into the downtown) Then the picture that was posted (from Market st bridge). I voted for Harrisburg, because it has the biggest "big city" looking skyline from Rt.81, mostly because of the hotels and office buildings that have to do with it being the state capitol. Reading is also pretty impressive, but very dated looking. The only two Pa cities I've never been too, so I can't speak for is Johnstown and Erie. Johnstown did look pretty impressive for being the smallest of the cities mentioned.
