Wegman's is a gigantic grocery store with all kinds of cool stuff, a restaurant area, great prices, etc. You'll love it!
I'm not sure if Franklin Mills is in Bucks County or not. It's near Valley Forge (not sure what county it's in), but that's a huge outlet mall.

At the moment there's no sales tax on clothing, and also no sales tax on food bought in a grocery store. Also toilet paper has no sales tax and I believe also women's sanitary products. The things that are considered "necessities". Food in a restaurant is taxed.
I say "at the moment" because there are always rumors this will change. There's also a rumor that the governor wants to raise our sales tax from 6% to 7%.

I spend allot of time in Doylestown
you will not be at a loss for shopping you can head up up 611 and also on street rd (rt132) The Montgomery mall isn't too far.
Wegmans is great it was my last stop before heading back to Florida where I picked up 4 dozen bagels to bring back
Unless they opened another Franklin Mills it is more toward NE Phila than Valley Forge not sure if it is phila or montgomery county. It is right off of 95 I think the rt 63 exit.

Thanks..I see that Doylestown is so huge...some homes we are looking at are way North of the Town Center...I'm just afraid that we'll be too far away from the action!

From Doylestown
Montgomery Mall- North wales -10 miles
New Hope- Artsy tourist area- 10 miles
Plymouth Meeting mall- Plymouth meeting- 20 miles
Chestnut Hill - very upscale ritzy section of NW Philaldephia- 20 miles
King of Prussia Mall(biggest on the east coast)-30 miles
Franklin Mills mall- - 30 miles
Center City Philadlephia- 35 miles. Perhaps the best kept secret on the east coast . I would strongly recommend a springtime visit , you would love it and it may catch you very much off guard. Great culture, great shopping, great architecture, and 475 restaurants/bars in a 3 sq. mile area. Its a mini Manhattan especially in the springtime.Very vibrant neighborhood.
