Question Levittown

Hello, I am new to this, so please bare with me...

I am planning a trip to Philadelphia in the fall and I would like to go visit a friend of mine that I have not seen in many years. I thought maybe I could take a train there to see her before I come back home. The train does not go to Levittown. Can anyone tell me the best way to get there as my friend does not drive and I will be going either by train or flying into Philadelphia. I don't want to drive myself or I would rent a car once I arrived there. Any suggestions anyone? I do not even know what the distance is between the two cities.

Thanks for any help you can give me in this matter.

If you are taking Amtrak, you can stop at either Philadelphia or Trenton and take SEPTA regional rail. The R7 line stops in Levittown. It's the first stop south from Trenton; I'm not sure how many stops north it is from Philly (30th Street Station), but it's a bit farther. Check out www.SEPTA.org for info. I have never taken SEPTA from the airport, but I know you can do that as well, though you will have to transfer.
