Default Thinking of moveing back to Erie in the spring what do you think ?

Hello everyone I lived in Erie for allmost 8 years. Been back here in southwest FL (Ft,Myers) but not im on ssi and it cost soooo much to live here,time I pay my rent $450 a month for a box apt in a not so great area that leaves me about $225 for lights and food can,t afford a phone or anything it SUCKS !!!!! And the Health care here is a laugh unless you have $$$ Anyway Thinking of moveing back up there in the spring if anyone can give me any info would be very thankful.........

It would be a good idea to have a job lined up before you get here. Its tough to find anything higher than minimum wage unless you have some special skills, or unless you've got a comittment from an employer.

Im on a fixed income (ssi) got hurt really bad a couple years ago

Yea I know the job thing was bad thats why I left in the first place you can allways get a job here thay don,t pay much though toooooooo many mexicans anyway im on ssi now and thought about moveing back up there I really liked it there but like I said before I could not find any work bavk then don,t have to worry about that now how much would you say a single bed Apt would go for ? and you say the dishinf is great ? I never went while I was there. its pretty good here cought our limet yesterday afternoon (50) nice bluegills or bream all about a pound or 2 great eating would like any info you can give thanks ....

The local paper is the Erie Times-News. You should be able to get the classifieds online. They should give you a pretty good idea of rental costs.
And yes, the fishing around here is great.

The best walleye, perch, and bass fishing is from boats. Great steelhead fishing is right on the Lake Erie tributaries. Large carp are available in the lake shallows. If you want to travel a little, there's a lot of trout fishing in the area. Something here for everyone.
