Ahhh, the landscape! The green, rolling hills, the streams, the smell of the outdoors.
History. My personal maternial history...the little town of Shanksville where people rose together and were forced to become super human in the wake of tragedy. Their characters became focus of the world.
Yeah. The food. Soul warming, comfort food. Reading these posts make me sooo home sick. I didn't know how much I loved PA until I lived elsewhere.

Best pizza in the usa can be found in PA. Also there is a large variety of plant life here, only it's dead 9 months out of the year though.

I don't know. I've never been there. However, I have to say that if you took a trip to Plum for a Vincent's it would be well worth it...you would thank me, and yourself. Trust me, it's the greatest Pizza on earth.

Reasons why I like Pennsylvania...
1. History from the birth of the nation (liberty hall) to the greatest struggle of the nation (Gettysburg)
2. Land from the Great Lakes through endless rolling hills to a major metro area with access to the Atlantic
3. Culture from the midwest feel to the east coast hustle and bustle with the Amish country inbetween
4. Sports, Penn State has great traditions
5. Parks, lots of land set aside to be preserved
