What can I say. Pennsylvania has everything you could want. Cold weather. Hot weather. Warm weather. Cool weather. Of course, it has the Steelers, the Pirates, and the Penguins (thankfully). You can tell that I'm from Western Pa. I love the small town life. I love going to the mall or the grocery store and seeing someone and getting a hug. I love Primanti's, I love the trees, I love the rivers, I love the bridges, and I love the people. I love the smell of fall. There is nothing like it. I love the smell of grass after a rain. I love the heat of summer and the Fourth of July celebrations. I recommend Pennsylvania to anyone. It's a great place to live and raise a family.

What are you talking about? Many people go to Penn State. It's a top university and has great sport teams and traditions. What a rude thing to say. You need to apologize. It's just one person's opinion, it doesn't have to be yours.

I stand by what I said. In Western PA, they are not so revered.

I was just saying that in general Penn State is respected around the country for its football traditions and academics. I am a University of Michigan graduate, but I would never put down Penn State's football traditions which is one of the greatest in the country.

While we are on great colleges, we can't forget to inlcude UPenn.

The state of Wyoming was actually named after Wyoming, Pa. As far as a rich history in this country, you'd be hard pressed to find a deeper one.

And food. Let's not forget homade Italian wine and tripe from a few selected nooks and cranneys in NEPA. And venicin, if it's done right..

PA doesn't have "low taxes". For the most part, taxes are either average or fairly high, esp. property taxes...

I moved to Western PA from NJ, my property taxes here are a fraction of what they were in NJ.
