MaryLynne is on a distinguished road
Default Relocating to be nearer to children

My husband and I own an insurance agency in Upstate NY and would like to eventually relocate in the next few years. Our daughters now live in Frederick and New Market, MD with their husbands so we would like to find a place nearer to them but not necessarily in Maryland. Maryland is pretty expensive compared to Upstate NY and the housing costs are much greater. We are thinking of the Gettysburg, PA area or someplace within an hour's distance to our kids. Since we are only in our 50's, would ideally like to get full/part time employment until we are ready to fully retire. We would like to find new housing and either a one story ranch or an active adult community and in the 200k's. Thanks for your help with our search.

I think southeastern PA is really pretty. Maybe take some time off to really drive around and visit all the little downs out there. Pay a visit to Longwood Gardens while you're in the neck of the woods. I'm sure you'll find something to your liking.
