Default Best Towns to live in near Willow Grove PA

Hello - my husband and I will need to relocate to PA where he will be working in Willow Grove. We currently live in upsate NY and absolutely love it here. We love Saratoga Springs, the cleaniness, the great schools and beautiful homes and scenery. I'm hoping to find a town that is similar to this so that I know that I can be happy here. I don't know anything about PA, Willogrove or neighboring towns. Obviously, I would like to live in an area with low crime rate... more suburban than city. I welcome all guidance.

Thanks for your help.

yea, Doylestown has a nice Historic little town feel to it. very clean low crime, great schools, but expensive.. it's a 30 min drive to Willow Grove.. Hatboro is a nice town also and slightly cheaper then Doylestown, but closer to Willow Grove. Most of central and northern Bucks County are pretty nice.

No need to go so far. Willow Grove itself is a kind of blue collar place but pretty nice if that is your budget. It is part of Abington Township which has an excellent school system and also has fancier neighborhoods a little to the south of Willow Grove (Rydal, Meadowbrook, Abington) as well as nice middle class areas (Glenside, Jenkintown) It is all low crime, prosperous suburban areas that were pretty much built out by the end of the '60's so it has a lot of charm and character, no cookie cutter tract houses.
