Camping and hiking is good if you're tired of hiking and camping.

I don't think these are open in the winter but in the summmer there are canoe rentals on the Clarion River, some "amusement/water slide" type facilities right outside the park and a couple of other things like flea markets. Brookville is close (having grown up there I don't see the tourist attraction of the town to be honest) as is Clarion. Cook Forest is one of the last major stands of old growth forest left so it's relatively untouched and it is planned to remain that way so not a whole lot of "things" to do that require cutting trees and paving.

As mentioned there are canoe rentals. Fishing is great. Good hunting. There are many privately owned cabins for rent. The area is for people who want to enjoy nature. All the activities mentioned are what folks look forward to doing while there. Or you can do nothing at all and R-E-L-A-X.

I grew up in the area, so I have a few tips:

Take a canoe ride, go fishing, go hunting, rent a cabin, climb the firetower and seneca point, go hiking, go see the huge old trees and the tallest tree in PA and the tallest White Pine in the the northeast called the "Longfellow Pine" (183 feet tall) http://www.pabigtrees.com/, enjoy a picnic, ride the go carts, go horseback riding, ride some waterslides, shop at the numerous gift shops, see the huge whitetail deer at the Double Diamond Deer Ranch, get ice cream on river road, go swimming at the pool, eat at the classy clarion river lodge, go for a bike ride on river road, check out the "Mysterious Maze" at Jessie's Dream Park, go to the flea market in Leeper, get a burger and a beer at the Trails End Restaurant, Check out the Farmer's Inn in Siegel for a small zoo, driving range, petting zoo, restaurant, mini golf, and gift shop, enjoy climbing on the "Beartown Rocks" near Clear Creek State park (not far).

Many of these activities are dependent on the time of year, so plan accordingly.

tab755 is on a distinguished road
As Johnny c stated is true.
You can get married and stay in a heart shape tub.
Buy a resort there for a million dollars.
There is a spa in the clarion lodge.
There is a area that is called "Adams circle" they have campers and cabin and trailers to buy and stay at, all year round. Nice location the people are nice they have a pizza shop and stores in the area you can walk to. The winter is a big hunting deal. Our hotels are booked year in advance for hunting.
Clarion and Dubois are growing slowly. Many stores are coming but it takes time to work out the zoning deal. You can still buy homes under 20k, lol nice ones at 50k and up, not kidding!
Brookville is based on our history.
