Default Christmas Tree Farms in PA

Welcome to Crystal Spring Tree Farm
OK folks.........this is my all time favorite Christmas Tree Farm in Pa.
It is the Crystal Springs Tree Farm down in Lehighton, Pa.
I have always gone to tree farms since my girls were small, and we continue on as the years go by. Just last year I thought that I might head a little further out and go to this farm. I have found it to be my all time favorite. They have had trees in the White House for many years. I think they had about 14 in the White House last year.
There is not one tree you wouldn't like.......so it is a matter of tallness, or fullness. ALL are well shaped. What a joy. So many were perfect you just couldn't hardly pick one from another.
Anyhow..........This is my all time favorite from tree shopping in NJ and PA..It is worth the extra mileage to go there? Oh yes!
What would be your favorite tree farm? I know there is a good one up by Dallas, Pa.

I just got a letter from the Farm. They have 18 trees going to the WHITE HOUSE this year. A representative came in Sept. to pick them out. Good goin' Crystal Springs.
They have a tree going in our Capitol Rotunda that is 21 feet tall. How proud they must be to grow trees that find themselves in the White House rooms.
The people there are the best. The owners name is Margaret! She is a real sweetheart.......
The farm has been in the family for many generations.
One year after winning the local titles they awaited where the National contest would be.
Lo' and behold........It was in Oregon.
UPS and FedEX would cost to much to ship the prize tree. Other methods were out of the question too. So..........they cranked up the AC in a trailer and off they went across country with the 8 foot prize tree. The bundled up in the cold. They got there tired, and ready for all the paperwork involved. Then went to bed!
They found their tree with a FIRST place ribbon in the morning! Later a contest would be for "Best of the Best" and they managed to WIN that too.
This is a wonderful farm to visit and explore. They will saw the tree for you, shake it, and help you load up. Some are freshly cut. I had no trouble with my tree last year. They are also not raising prices as some are. Wreaths and garland can be purchased also...........just a joy to visit.

Thank you for the wonderful suggestion. My family and I will definately be getting our Christmas tree there next year!
I have a notebook of all the great suggestions from people here on the message boards, so I feel like we will be somewhat prepared when we get there.
Thanks again!
Steph

I will be going there most likely during the week after Thanksgiving.....around that date anyhow.
I have to bring my camera to take pictures of the farm. I will post them here........
There have not been to many farms that compare. There are some I had liked quite a bit........but this one is awesome. I won't go without the camera.......so look for more to come on this.
