What counties have you lived in, worked in, slept in, or been to? (map)
I've just thought of a fun thing to do. Here is a map of Pennsylvania counties color-coded by my experiance in them:

Dark Blue = Counties in which I've lived
Red = Counties in which I've worked
Green = Counties in which I've stayed overnight
Yellow = Counties I've visited
In order for a county to be yellow, these are counties that I've actually done something in rather than drive through. If I included counties I've merely driven through, only a few would not be at least yellow.
If anyone else wants to do this just copy my map an re-color it in MS Paint to your specifications!

My Attempt
Here is my own stab at this. I couldn't quite get the "hang" of paint, so sorry that it looks like it was done by a 4-year-old! I've used the same key as was used by our pal bobsmith.
GREEN = Counties I've Stayed Overnight In
Adams: Our car broke down just outside of Gettysburg on our way home from Virginia back in 2005. I suppose there were "worse" places to be forced to stay overnight in.
Allegheny: I was last in Pittsburgh in 1998, when my father, his co-worker at Prudential, his son, and I went to see the Pirates play in the former Three Rivers Stadium. We stayed in a hotel (Marriott?) on the fringe of downtown.
Blair: While at Pittston Area our high school's Science Olympiad team progressed to the state level quite frequently. We stayed at a hotel in Altoona and commuted out to Juniata College in Huntingdon for the competition.
Centre: I've stayed overnight at friends' dorms/apartments in State College on numerous occasions to get a taste of what college SHOULD have been like for me---a place where everyone doesn't walk around with a Bible inserted into their rectums.
Lackawanna: Living just over the county line I've stayed at my fair share of friends' homes in Greater Scranton.
Lancaster: My family and I have stayed overnight in both Strasburg and Lancaster.
Philadelphia: My parents and I enjoyed an overnight stay in Center City Philly in mid-2006.
Pike: I stayed overnight once at my ex-boyfriend's mother's home in Bushkill.
Somerset: When I was president of the Pittston Area chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), we advanced to the state competition at the Seven Springs Resort in the mountains outside of Somerset. The resort accidentally gave away our rooms, so we were upgraded to a sweet luxury townhouse on the property!
Wayne: I stayed overnight once at my ex-boyfriend's father's home in Sterling.
YELLOW= Counties That I Visited
These were mostly for photo tours.
BLUE= Where I Live(d)
Hell: Welcome to the land of bland pizza, nepotism, "heynabonics", homophobia, urban sprawl, miners' homes, and more corner bars, funeral homes, and Ford Tauruses per capita than any other county in our nation.

Um, is this some egotistical way to say you are better-traveled than us?
This is a PENNSYLVANIA forum and we are talking strictly Pennsylvania here. There are places for talking about what states and countries you have been to--those are the General U.S. and World forums.

That's funny, I actually used to own a Fort Taurus!
Anyway, I feel I should elaborate on my green counties as well:
Alleghaney & Somerset: As a kid when my parents would take us on trips to Illinois my mom would never want to spend too long in the car, so these were two places that we stayed overnight durring different trips.
Northumberland: A close friend of mine lives in Sunbury and I must have slep over there 30 times by now.
Lackawana: I slept in a hotel in suburban Scranton durring another road trip just a few months ago.
Montgomery: My ex-girlfriend's parents live there and I slept over frequently.
As far as the blue ones:
Bucks: Spent ages 10-18 here, went to Junior High and High School here. My parents still live there
Berks: I went to college here, in Kutztown.
Lycoming: I live here now, in Williamsport.
And while I'm at it, the one county in Red:
Lehigh: I used to work at a Wawa on Rt 100, a mile south of exit 49 off of Interstate 78, while I went to Kutztown.

I'll play:
Erie County: Lived there 1960-1977
Mongtomery County: Residing 2004-present
Allegheny, Butler, Westmoreland, Somerset, Cambria, Bedford counties: Related to a good percentage of the populace in these locations. Or so it seems. And over the years I've hit them all up for a place to stay.
Warren County: Helped chaperone a church youth group camping trip when I was in college. My little sister, in the youth group at the time, was not happy.
Berks, Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester and Lehigh counties: College roomies and buddies either lived or now live in these locations.
Centre County: Visiting high school friends at Penn State.
Monroe County: Weekend getaways.
Is Hershey in Dauphin County? We spent a few nights there this summer.

Millcreek township
we also had a house in Elizabethtown but didn't actually live there
