Let me add a little history. The Rose Bowl facility was built in 1922. First teams to use the stadium were Penn State and USC.

I have to admit, Penn State showed up for the game. Was a great second half. Didn't realize the amount of history the Penn State coach brings to the game. Amazing life and an amazing carreer so far. Was wondering what was up with that punt attempt in the 4th quarter. USC had me going their for a minute. My daughter had to remind me that my favorite team was still winning.

No Coastal Carolina or Temple in this game. PSU finally plays a real team and gets their arses handed to them on a silver platter. The game was not as close as the score shows....PSU scored a few garbage-time touchdowns.

PSU made too any mistakes early. Not sure about the garbage td's as USC was trying to massacre them as badly as they could to impress the voters and maybe get some #1 votes
Penn state is not as bad as they looked, and its very tough for a big ten team to go out there and play a pac-ten team who is pretty much playing a home game. That said, USC is a great team with an even better coach.
