Default schuylkill county land options

We are currently looking to buy land in Scyulkill county. We like the area since we quad ride on the weekends.Would like to build a small house or cabin.I would preffer to buy one but cannot find a realestate agent who is advertising any in the area.Since I am a remodeling contractor building would not be a problem. My concern would be if they decide to mine the area do they give you fair market price? Anything I should be looking into septic <well< covants.Do they have the clean and green tax reduction in the area.Everytime we google we get the same real estate agents they must be more than 3 for such a large area. Are there other places to look for land for sale .Thanks for the help.
