Red face Reading, PA and Surrounding Area

Hey, I moved to the Reading-area a couple of months ago and now that I'm pretty well settled in and summer is approaching, I was hoping to get some idea's on what's around here to do! I'm looking for anything that has to do with the arts (music/concerts, museums, art galleries, etc.), Parks, or any other area that is good for hiking, photography, roller blading, or biking.

I do know about Skyline Dr (although I have yet to go there since my boss took me there for recruiting ), the GoogleWorks, and the park and bike-path next to the Penn State-Berks Co campus.

I'm definitely open to any idea's though!

Also, this is a random shot in the dark, but if anyone knows of any openings for an Art Education and/or Professional Photographer let me know as my g/f and I are getting serious... and she's still in MI! So, it would be nice if she could get a job out here!

There's also Blue Marsh Lake, very scenic from Brownsville Rd., there's trails, fishing, boating. Google it. Also, Hawk Mountain in Hamburg is reasonably close. There's hiking there.

A drive around the county should yield some interesting photography.

Smile Things to do

Plan on spending the 3rd weekend in August at the Mt. Gretna Art show. It is a spectacular show nestled in the woods of Mt. Gretna (Lebanon County)! Artists from all over display their work. It does get very full; I believe it is one of the largest on the east coast. There may be a website, not sure.
