Ridgway is in the North Central mountains of PA. Not a whole lot going on, very much small town PA.

Weather is very much four seasons. They get their share of snow.

They have an annual carnival and other things

Ridgway is about 12 miles from St marys which has a super wal-mart much bigger then ridgway

I've been driving through there for over 10 years and it seems to look better each time. That's saying something for PA.

Definitely beautiful. We started out our honeymoon in late October by driving through there on our way to Wellsboro.

That pretty much says it all. Great place to enjoy the outdoors and the Cook Forest is nearby

I've long thought Ridgway is an attractive-looking town, especially for a non-college town in rural Pennsylvania.

There is a major chainsaw carving fest in Feb. each year (and it's going on right now) that has been really big for the town, I think it's shed some light on the town to outsiders and the town seems to be attracting more artists and tourists. This would be a good time to check the place out. I certainly could live there, it's a vintage PA rural mountain town.
