Default Relocating to Lebanon

Moving to Lebanon next month and wondering if all areas are safe or if there are some more desirable sections. Also what's the nightlife like and are there good restaurants? I love a good breakfast/Sunday brunch place.

The City of Lebanon is not usually considered a desirable area. Cornwall and Mount Gretna seem much nicer - nicer older homes and newer developments, and closer to Lancaster and Philadelphia for nightlife. Annville Borough just west of Lebanon is a pretty little town with the small Lebanon Valley College. Palmyra area also has many newer developments, folks who commute to adjacent Hershey area (the Penn State medical school, Milton Hershey School, and The Hershey [Chocolate] Co.). US 422 is a slow, slow, slow road. Northern Lebanon county area (Jonestown, Fredericksburg) have a few relatively modest cost developments and proximity to I-81 for Harrisburg shopping and nightlife. Poultry processing in Fredericksburg and the Army/Guard training center at Fort Indiantown Gap can create smells and noises. Eastern Lebanon county (Myerstown, Schaefferstown) is more genuinely rural, although it's all rural if you're coming from a major metro.
