Next week I have tix for a show at the Sovereign Center and have never been there. Can someone tell me what type of place it it? Is it like an arena or more like a a music hall? I have general admission, do you suggest getting there a couple hours early or right before the show is fine. I will be driving 2/3 hours to get there, so I would like any info. you could provide. Thank.

Thanks but I've already been to the site. It doesn't answer my questions.

I was just at the sov center for a country concert this past weekend. The setup they have is great. The center is actually a hockey arena, our ECHL team plays there. If you are looking to get close to the stage, I would suggest arriving early. AT the concert I was at, they had reserved seating toward the back of the floor, but the first 12 or so rows by the stage were "pit" GA tickets. Now country shows don't get too "pit" crazy, but they usually set the stage up at one end of the floor.

I hope this helps. I would suggest calling the box office to find out if the whole show is GA. Is this at the Sov Center or the smaller venue they own? (I forget what they call it...sorry. It used to be the Rajah Theatre) Now that is more of a theatrical setup with about 1000 seats.

I'm not sure but I do know they have about 9,000 seats. It's not all GM, just the floor. It's a hard rock concert so I really don't want to be right up front (too old for that) but I also don't want to be in the back.
