Default Info on Harleysville

We're looking at moving to Harleysville.

How's the area, the schools, activities for kids, etc.

Harleysville is my area. My wife and I are building a house in Harleysville. I posted about Quakertown but we choose Harleysville. Home prices and taxes are a little higher in the Harleysville area but I think you get what you pay for.

I live in Quakertown - formerly worked in, and drive through, Harleysville twice a day...

I would not hesitate to move there and the surrounding slightly more rural areas. The area is middle to upper middle class white suburbs so I can only assume the schools are reflective of that.

My sister in law has lived in Harleysville for about ten years and loves it there. Great schools, playgrounds, etc. Unfortunately, her husband has a new job in North Jersey and they are moving in June.

Hey. Did your sister in law sell her house yet? If not is she interested in renting for 9-12 months. They the housing market should go up and it would she can get more for her house.
We are moving from Long Island NY to that area and are looking for a house to rent that will allow my dog and cat. I figured might as well ask, you never know.
