Question Governor Mifflin School District, Shillington. ???
We are from Long Island, NY and we're relocating to the Wyomissing/Shillington area. We found a home in Shillington we really love but we have learned that Governor Mifflin School District has a high number of minorities. Not to sound prejudice, but our kids are not used to that level of "diversity." I'm confused, are these kids coming from the city of Reading? What areas are assigned to this district?

I'm also trying to move from LI to that area of PA and I'd move to Wyomissing based on what I've learned and researched. Have you checked out schoolmatters.com and greatschools.net?? I do know that Wyomissing SD and Wilson have very good scores. Good luck

I found schoolmatters.com to be extremely helpful in our search for an area to live.
We are in the Wilson SD and very happy with it!
