Hi,
I'll be moving in Philadelphia with my wife and baby (6 months) in May 09.
She'll be working near Philly airport, but I'll be working in NYC
, so we're looking for a place to live near 30th Street Station.
- How is the area near the train station / City Center West ?
- Would it be possible to find a townhouse in a nice area within
walking distance from the train station ?
- How bad is the commuting from PHL to NYP
? Can it be done ?
I plan to take the AMTRAK Keystone or Northeast Regional (approx. 1h20), as Acela Express is out of budget (I also understand there's no monthly or yearly pass with Acela ?).
- Is it possible to work on the AMTRAK trains (e.g. use a laptop, etc.) ?
