Default Lakes?

Besides the Poconos, are there any decent size lakes that you can sail and water ski on. I am looking around Lehigh, Harrisburg and down to Lancaster County. Any private lake communities?, besides the Poconos.

There are a few between Allentown and Reading. I'm not sure about water skiing, but I don't see why that wouldn't be allowed. Check out Lake Ontelaunee and Blue Marsh, both in Berks I believe. There is also Lake Martburg between York and Gettysburg if you want to travel a bit farther. There are also several nice lakes south of Coopersburg. I'm not sure of their names, but they are right off of 309, close to Perkasie.

You can sail on Lake Nockamixon, but not water ski. Nockamixon - Boating - Hiking - Fishing - Swimming - Lake Nockamixon - Cabins Nockamixon is just east of Quakertown.

This state park map should help you: Pennsylvania State Parks - Find a Park Alphabetically - PA DCNR

I think Beltzville State Park allows water sking Pennsylvania State Parks - Beltzville - PA DCNR
