Not to be too smart, but one of your first challenges will be learning how to spell.

A heads-up - you will need a co-signer on any place you intend to rent. I would check craigslist, unfortunately, I think the only one that covers Bucks is the Philly one so you will have to wade through a lot of listings to find what you want. I would suggest hoping over to Quakertown and look around for the local Pennysaver and looking in there and also asking a local realtor.

If its an option I would advise you to stay at home junior, go to school save money and listen to the rules of the house. Keep it all in perspective and when you come out the other side you will appreciate it. Remember the only people who get a job and start at the top are ditch diggers, and they work their way down.

Cut this kid a break on spelling. I know plenty of intelligent, mathmatical types who spell poorly.
Financially: Always live below your means. Never get into a situation of financing something stupid like a stereo or furniture, no matter how much you want them (trust me, I speak from experience). Credit cards are BAD and they will be thrown at you from every angle at college. Never get one, instead save up at least $1000 in an emergency fund for emergencies so you won't need a credit card. Check out Dave Ramsey's website. It's Christian-based and that may not appeal to you, but at least listen to the financial side. He's cool and funny and the financial advice he offers is free and very, very good. At 17, and hopefully debt-free, you're in a great position to take charge of your financial future. If you do decide to take Dave Ramsey's advice (find radio stations and listen to him) you'll be on the road to a life of financial independence. Good luck!
Socially: You are judged by the company you keep. Make good decisions about who you hang around with.
