Ouch!! My daughter and her husband went to the Golden Grill Friday night. They both got water and my son-in-law went to get food first. My daughter was very thirsty and took a big sip of water. After she swallowed, she thought her mouth was bleeding because she tasted blood. She took an other small sip and the water tasted like blood Her husband came back, and she ask him to taste his water and sure enough , he said his tasted like blood As they were eating, the lady next to them ask for a root beer because her water didn't taste good My younger daught ask weither the water was red Hope they get that checked

Probably iron in the water. How horrible! Ugh! I wonder if the restaurant has a water filter that wasn't working or if it's an issue with the entire municipality.

That's disgusting and another reminder to me not to ever stop there. Even the outside doesn't look appealing. Would love to see an IHOP or Chili's in the area, though!

I had the same experience at the Golden Grill, the water tasted like blood. I was hoping it was just my imagination. I guess it wasn't.

There needs to be more upscale restaurants in the area. I used to live in Northumberland. Have been living in Manhattan, NYC, NY for 10 years now. When I go back home to visit family there seem to only be buffets, etc. I believe the Townside Cafe in Northumberland is still open? That place is actually very nice for the area. I like the nice, personal "REAL" restaurants. Not buffet-style places. GROSS! The food is NOT good at places like this. However, the Chinese Buffet in Downtown Sunbury still is good, even by this NYC snob. Haha.

I might have to check out the Quizzo night at the Edison. I went to trivia nights when I lived down by State College and enjoyed it. Do you have to be part of a team or do they allow people to play individually? Although I hardly ever go out to a bar anymore, the Edison was always a favorite. Friendly atmosphere and always enjoyed going there.

You're allowed to have 6 players. 1st place gets a $50 gift certificate to the Edison. Second place gets a $20 gift certificate. 4 rounds of trivia, 10 questions a round. It's a lot of fun........Lee

Any more word on a Sonic? I see the "for sale" sign is still at the old auto sale place where someone thought Sonic would be going in.
