Shippensburg University is an awesome college and the town is quaint, rural, safe, and wonderful. The people are so nice and you can walk the streets at 2 am and not have to worry about anything.

Umm, poster is long gone and was interested in a place not too far from Philadelphia or NYC. Ship is a great college town, but not a bit close to either city. Frankly, I think Bloomsburg is a bit of a stretch for that criteria ...

I understand the E. Strousburg, Bloomsburg, Lewisburg areas have some potential.
Any information you can provide is appreciated.
Thanks!

I must say I find it annoying when an OP asks for help, then never says "boo" in the thread again. I posted a long reply over on the Denver forum that took some time to research, and nary a peep from OP who requested the info. This doesn't have much to do with Pennsylvania, I know, just a gripe.
