Default Relocating to Pittsburgh from Toronto

Hello everyone

I'm just curious if anyone used to live in Toronto can give me a few things about Pittsburgh in terms of housing. I currently live in Etobicoke area, average detach is about 400K to 500K (Canadian). What would be equivalent area in Pittsburgh. I visited Pittsburgh few times, I was surprise of house wide the price range in Pittsburgh...anywhere from 50K to million dollar home. You won't find any 50K house in Toronto, bottom end would be 300K...truly appreciated thanks

Just a tip, but you might consider reposting this in the Pittsburgh forum.

Canada really fascinates me. I've traveled through Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City and am always fascinated at the standard of living there. You never see any junky cars, never see any slums. Everyone always seems so well dressed and has beautiful cars and homes.

I love our City of Pittsburgh but I personally think going from Toronto to Pittsburgh would be a huge cultural and lifestyle let down for you.
