Default Quaint village(s) in Bucks Cty?

I'm looking for a quaint, New England-style village in Bucks County. My wife and i will retire in a year or two, and we've begun the search for a place to put down some roots.

Ideally: a place with some sophistication, but low key. A defined village center would be nice. I don't like big developments with lots of McMansions, prefer winding back roads to busy highways. A few good restaurants would be a plus, and a good grocery market is critical. A low crime rate is a must. Since our kids are grown, schools aren't a factor.

Is there such a place in Bucks County?

Thanks for your suggestions.
