Default The Truth About Yardley PA Flooding?

Hi All,

My wife and I are thinking of moving to Yardley. In particular we are looking at renting a few places right down by the river. I know there have been some serious floods there in 2004, 2005, 2008.

I'm looking to hear from people with actual experience with the flooding--what happened, how bad was it, how long were places uninhabitable (if at all)?

Basically I'm trying to figure out if the outside chance of another major flood is reason enough NOT to live in one of these rentals for just a year or so.

Thanks very much for any help!
