Default apartments for rent in Watsontown/Turbotville/Milton area

Hi everyone,
I'm from Wisconsin looking to move to PA.
With the help of Dawne (tyvm, you are a God send!) I've poured over online local newspaper listings for apartments as well as Real Estate agency sites and Craigs List but still haven't had much luck in finding an apartment.

I know here in Wisconsin, there are lots of apartments for rent that aren't advertised in the paper....they just have signs posted out front in the yard for advertising.

So here's my question.....do people post signs in yards out there advertising apartments for rent? and is so, is there anyone who lives/drives through the Watsontown/Turbotville/White Deer/Allenwood/Milton/McEwensville area that has maybe seen signs posted and would be willing to pm me a phone number?

Or perhaps someone knows of someone who owns rental property in these areas that is looking to fill a vacancy?

Here is what I am hoping to find....
2-3 bedrooms
$450-ish not incl utilities
$550-ish incl utilities

Any and all leads would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

This post is an excellent idea. As much as I'm able to, I've been looking things up in the paper, but being in Selinsgrove I just don't get up to the Watsontown/Turbotville/Milton area that often to drive around. If I'm in that area at all I'm usually traveling through to somewhere else and not on residential streets.

I'll continue to look, but hopefully someone from those areas will be more help with yard signs, etc.

Sunbury has more rentals. Utilities being included is a thing of the past. Bowen Agency does rentals.

It is, but for someone driving by it's often hard to catch the phone number. You'd have to stop, get out paper, and write the number down. It's a bit of an effort that apparently people aren't willing to make. I've been watching the paper since I don't get to that area very often and I haven't seen anything new or in your price range. I'll keep watching.
