Smile what kind of people live in Elizabethtown

Thinking of moving to this town and want to know if there are alot of amish and mennonites that live in this town. If so do the mennonites go to public schools? Is it mostly locals or does there seem to be alot of outer towners moving in? Any info or insite would be greatly appreciated!

There are some Amish on the fringes of town. You will see them, but rarely - they're certainly not an everyday fixture. There are a strong number of Mennonites - but mostly 'modern' ones as opposed to more traditional Old Order ones.

Kraybill Mennonite School is in Maytown and serves K-8. A lot of Mennonite kids go there and then go to Elizabethtown Area High School (public) or Lancaster Mennonite High School (private, in Lancaster city somwhere).

There's been a lot of development over the past 10-20 years (too much IMO) and a lot of outsiders have moved in. Though the locals aren't unfriendly. Up until very recently the town was almost exclusively white, though that has been undergoing a rapid shift in the past 2-3 years.
