looking for information about glenside and arcadia university (Philadelphia: school, shopping centers)

My family is interested in any information about Arcadia University and the town of Glenside. Could anyone elaborate at all about the school and the community surronding it. Thank you

Glenside is a small, northern suburb to Philadelphia. It is primarily residential with small shopping areas, not alot of office buildings or big strip shopping centers.
Arcadia is a smaller private U which focuses on liberal arts education. Also well known for many strong study abroad areas. I believe it has some good programs in health sciences areas.

I sent you a DM cournoyerfamily, but thought I would add to my note to you here. I've visited quite a few colleges since I have two older kids and we are now starting colleges visits with my 11th grader. Each College has something that they emphasize to try and make themselves seem unique, for Arcadia it's their global focus and study abroad programs. If your student is not interested in either one of those things, I'd say not to look at Arcadia. My son really liked it.
