Default levittown

I have been checking out the real estate market in levittown. The prices are incredibly cheap and is in the pennsbury school district. Is there anyone who lives in levittown who can tell me the downside of living in levittown?

Kinda a lot of crime in that area. Turning a little white trash/ghetto-ish.

Dont listen to mollyme - there is nothing wrong with Levittown. I love when people who do not live in levittown, rank on it. My wife and I bought our house in 2004 in Levittown and I cannot say one bad thing about the town or the people. We love it here.

Private message me if you want more info.

worked, lived and grew up near levittown.

levittown, liek most towns, has good and bad sections. some sections of levittown are dirty and white-trash/ghettoish, but there is a lot of overlooked nice laces in levittown.

you basically have to go, visit the area and get a good look around. if you see your neighbor has eight cars, all of which are in the yard with parts and junk strewn about the property, chances are, you are in the trashy area.

there is good and bad in levittown, it all depends on where you live, and to classify it as trashy is false.

there are some nice neighborhoods in levittown, and pennsbury is a great school district.

I take offence to this. You can find a load of cars that do not run in any town....You can find a neighbor that has too much trash or an extensive hobby of collecting garbage he doesnt need. Levittown has gotten a bad rap for many years, and to tell you the truth the rap that it has gotten over the years, just doesnt stand true anymore.

There are a lot of young families moving in and buying all of the original capes and ranches and blowing them up or renovating them. This is what my wife and I did.

We live in South Levittown, and I can tell you that there is one house near me that is not taken care of, and the rest of the homes are very well taken care of, and the have well manicured lawns etc.....No cars in their driveway that dont run, and no excessive garbage that doesnt belong there.

wow, and take offense you have (perhaps you are a little too sensitive) so i'll reiterate what i have said, "there are good and bad areas in levittown" just like every town anywhere in the good old USA.

yes, your neighborhood is nice, but that isn't all of levittown! read: there are good and bad spots no matter where you live.

and like i said again, "visit the area and make a judgment" for yourself.... bud, i was siding with you and you jump down my throat.... budsvtec, have you visited every town in levittown? have you lived in every town? no: you and your wife bought a house in a decent area and turned the place around. I have a friend that moved into kenwood? and the houses around his were crappy, altho his neighbors behind him were very nice and like him, young and trying to "make a difference" by turning his house around as well... and i have a cousin that lives in Highland and his house is ok, his neoghbors are ok and that neighborhood is decent (nice houses and people)

i've had friends from levittown and bristol and both areas have good and bad places, just like anywhere else...

so, like i said before, if you are considering moving to levittown, take a good look around your nieghborhood and neighbors and make a judgment of your own.
