I feel very sorry for Jon. Kate is very bossy and rude to him. She is definitely a control freak. I can't see Jon staying in the relationship. I'm sure they are making lots of money off the show but once that ends and reality sets in, I think Jon will most likely look for someone who will treat him like a man instead of a child. |

What I find interesting is how well they handle what they were given. I do not think their pregnancy was IVF, but fertility drugs which had previously given them twins. I do not think anyone would choose to be pregnant with six children, but they are blessed with a healthy family, and they are working very hard to give all of their children an excellent childhood. IMO parents of one or two children could learn from them.

Interesting People, Jon & Kate
They treat their children with love and kindness and intelligence. I enjoy seeing they aren't shoving religion down the kids throats; but are teaching them how to be good people, by being good people themselves. They acknowledge each of their children's distinct personality and needs; which shows insight and tolerance on the part of the parents. These children should grow up happy and productive; and not filled with guilt and shame. Princess Moosiehaha

Kate's a Mensch....leave her be.
She's effective in raising happy children; and still has her wits about her. She's not drinking/drugging/eating herself into 300 lbs/beating her children/feeding them well, caring for and loving them. So what if she gives her husband some crap once in a while...he's still hanging around and loving it. And he's got a job he can run off to every day for some peace/quiet/adult company. She home doing the '****' work...and she's still got her sanity.
