Do You Think Harrisburgh Should Have A City-Data Subforum?
I have often wondered what the criteria are for smaller cities to have their own forum. Harrisburgh seems large enough...especially with Lancaster and/or York; and it has some added importance as our state's capitol.
What do you think? .

This was already brought up by yours truly, and the Administrator didn't think we needed one.

There hasn't been much posted here about the Harrisburg area for months. Making a separate sub-forum won't increase the number of posts.

Has two different definitions - one is the service area of this: Central PA Magazine and the other is the actual centre of the state - like The Official Centre Region COG Home

Just so happens Harrisburg is in the center of the state and people of that area have different opinions than the eastern, Pittsburg and Philly area.

I, for one, miss the fact that there isnt a Harrisburg section. I dont think that lack of posts is the best gauge, as I am not so inclined to make area specific posts in the general forum. I think that not having a section has an effect on the amount of posts that are made for any one area.
The Harrisburg/York area is a huge draw in the state of PA. Harrisburg has shown up continuously in rankings as one of the best values in the country to live. I'm sure that many people, like myself, that are fed up with philly, but still want to be close to our families and friends, would make great use of a Harrisburg section.

The area is too large. South Central PA works better. What do people in Gettysburg have in common with people in Williamsport?

I haven't a clue why simply starting some threads in the general PA section related to subjects of interest about Harrisburg won't work for you and all the other lurkers?
The New Jersey forum has no subsections, for example, and people manage to talk about areas or neighborhoods of interest.
What do you think might be different in the Harrisburg area from what has you 'fed up' with Philly? What are you looking for?
