Does anyone have any experience, thoughts, perceptions, etc. of living in the townhomes just west of downtown New Hope (up the hill and around the circle - south of Mechanic St.)? Taxes on a 3BR/2BA unit? Association fees? Amenities? Additional membership fees? Community vibe?

Anything will help. THANKS!

The one just below Mechanic St. is called Village II. It was built in the late '60s to early '70s. I don't think that any of the units have more than 2 bedrooms though lot size, total SF and number of bathrooms varies. I checked MLS online and prices were from $278,000 to $399,000. Here's an example: Terrific Townhouse in Village II (http://philadelphia.craigslist.org/reb/1428096872.html - broken link)

Just south of that is Riverwoods. At least they have a website. Riverwoods at New Hope Community Association
It's mostly single family homes but they have a few townhomes as well.

I have no idea about the taxes in New Hope; I don't live there.
