Default Extreme Ice Racing, Tullio Arena Erie PA

Anyone hear any info on this?

"Erie, Pennsylvania - On November 20 & 21, 2009, XiiR, the X-treme International Ice Racing AMA Pro Tour will be holding its last two rounds of its first ever Fall championship indoor ice racing series at the Tullio Arena located at 809 French Street; Erie, Pa. 16501."

Are any Moto/ATV people out there goin to this?

Guess they got a contest going that ATV riders can enter - "Don’t miss the chance to support your local ATV riders who will have a chance to mix it with the pros and capture the reward from SuperTrapp Industries Dash 4 Cash! This $500 Reward challenges any local quad racer to compete against the XiiR Quad Roster and win the main event!"

$500 bucks and you get to take an ATV out on an indoor Ice arena?

Heck yes.

Thoughts, Erie extreme sports enthusiasts?

Pretty cool, the closest thing they ever had to that when I lived in Erie where the monster trucks with the dirt bike exhibitions and stunts. It will be loud as hell in there though.

Sounds dangerous. But probably no different from the sorts of things that go on when the bay it freezes over. Yipe.
