Default !

I am an Adams County resident. And i somewhat--- agree to what they are saying.

I live SW of Gettysburg, 2 minutes away from the maryland border.

In sports, (at least form most of the people i know) like the STEELERS by far of any other football team. And for baseball- it's kind of an even split between the Phillies and Orioles.

My family, has tons of jobs (lighting entrepreneur) throughout the whole state of PA, and never noticed much in MD. They are always having jobsites in York, Harrisburg, Altoona, Lancaster, and other PA towns. And I don't really think that PA is becoming "southernized". PA people are more chill, laidback, etc. Marylanders I DO agree, are a bit more commercialized. And occasianally there is a mover coming from the south, but i wouldnt think that PA is the south xD.

I, when we do go on shopping sprees, they are usually in Fredrick, and Hagerstown, and Chambersburg. Same with many other people south of Gettysburg. Gettysburgers and people northward mostly commute to Harrisburg. I would'nt say that Harrisburg is becoming engulfed by Baltimore. They are 2 totally different places! Only connected by I-83. there is many things to do in Harrisburg, so i wouldnt think people who LIVE there commute to Baltimore, DC area. If they DID have jobs there, they would probably move further southward- but probably still in PA, or northern Maryland. Probably PA, because they love their state.

And i must say- PA schools ARE very nice, they seem a bit more scholarly than some other places southward. Which gives a distinct dividing line between north and south. But people who live in PA, are like, "HEY! i aint no southern dude. Im a Pennsylvania hick, and PROUD!" XD

But i wouldnt say that Southern PA is being engulfed by Baltimore. Just some commuters- that's all

Steelers games get higher ratings in Harrisburg than Ravens games in spite of the NFL labeling Harrisburg as a secondary market for the Ravens.

As long as Roethlisberger is QB of the Steelers I'm done with them. I might even follow the Redskins this year because I think the Eagles are the Chicago Cubs of football.

As long as Roethlisberger is not convicted of a crime, I'm not done with him.

He doesn't need to be convicted to be a disgrace to the organization and a bad all around human being. Athletes are seldom ever convicted on rape or sex charges just ask Kobe. Big Ben's disrespect of Terry Bradshaw was hard to swallow too. Big Ben's a first class jerk and that's all I need to begin rooting against him.
