Default Commute from Bristol/Levittown to Sayreville/Piscataway

I was wondering if there is anyone here that commutes from the Levittown area of PA to Middlesex County NJ everyday for work? If so, what is the best route to take? I'd prefer non-toll roads like Route 1. I figure it would take about an hour each way but I'd like to hear from others who do or have done this commute on a daily basis. Thank you.

Hello, It'll definitely be more than an hour commute with traffic whether toll or non toll if you travel during rush hours. I used to travel from Franklin Park, NJ which is 20 mins outside of Morrisville,PA to Newark, NJ (usually a 45 min drive)...It would take 2 hours each way with traffic. I used to take toll and non-toll roads depending on how the traffic was moving. Please take into account that the traffic is horrible during rush hours. If taking Route 1 which would be your best bet, you should try to leave at least 1.5 - 2 hours early to get ahead of the traffic....that's the only way to ensure that you'll get to work on time. Hope this helps : )
