Default Social Island Near Chambersburg

Is anyone familiar with an area called Social Island? Back in the mid-seventies, I used to go to a Barber shop in Chambersburg and the barber told me once that he owned a house (cottage?) that, when he did a deed check on it had belonged to my Grandfather. I was wondering if Social Island was really an island or did people just call it that. I used to drive by the end of Social Island Road but never turned onto it.

There's a City Island in the river between Harrisburg and Camp Hill, but I've never heard of a Social Island.
