Question A place to get away from it all

Can anyone point me in the direction of where I can find some acreage(10 or more) at a good price in a part of the state that includes a lake or large stream/river out of the way from nuckleheads but w/in reach of basic medical and entertainment. Need a place to destress from our Nation's Cap. A place where an active family of 4 can relax. Trees and mountain views a plus but nothing that requires a helicopter for rescue The closer to MD the better. I don't want to travel to far but will, for peace of mind. Plan to put a log-cabin on it some day.

if you want close to maryland, then i would look in cumberland county. north by carlisle is more urban, but if you stay around shippensburg, newburg and newville, it is very rural.

huntingdon county could also be a possiblity. It is very rural, has the juniata river as well as raystown lake. Land would also be cheaper in huntingdon county or any county in the central/western part of pa. Eastern PA will be more expensive for land than western pa.
