Thanks for another nice tour SWB. Never heard of Lewisburgh before. Looks nicer than Milford. I'd like to visit but it's quite a haul from where I am.

Only about 3 1/2 to 4 hours along I-80. Well worth the drive, but make it quick before I-80 becomes a toll road!

Did you know that the Bell Tower at Bucknell rings once on the half hour and
every hour. You can hear it all over town.
That's a small town.
However, it's growing rapidly with new housing.
It also has a Federal Prison, with some famous people housed their.

Thanks for the memories
I now live in Fairbanks Alaska and your photos sure did remind me of what it was like growing up in that peaceful little town. If you ever go back to Lewisburg be sure to give yourself enough time to catch a movie, and enjoy some of the fine dining.

As soon as I'm financially stable enough to justify continuing these photo tours in 2008 with our skyrocketing gas prices and my 100,000+ mile older sedan I hope to return to do a tour of another community in the Central Susquehanna Valley. I'm thinking along the lines of Muncy, Montoursville, Watsontown, Danville, or Sunbury.
