Hello, I am moving to what I am hoping to be somewhere in Bucks or Delaware counties by June 15. I have lived in the same zip code in St. Louis, Mo all my life. With any luck I will have a job and a place to live by the start of school so I can bring my girls up with me. I would love advice on school districts and places to live. Job leads would be helpful too, the last 8 years I have run a grade school cafeteria.

Garnet Valley SD in southwest Delaware County is a good school system. They also have a few townships with no local income tax, and there's lots of sales tax free shopping on Route 202 just across the border in Delaware state. I work with people who send their kids there and say good things about it.

Although not in Pennsylvania, the adjacent Brandywine SD in Delaware state just had all 3 of their high schools rank in Newsweek's pool about students taking advance placement tests. The significantly lower taxes might make it worth a look.
