Very sad:

State trooper fatally shot in Venango County

Quote:
The shooting occurred in the 100 block of Bredinsburg Road in Cranberry Township, where the man responsible for the shooting has not been located.

The shooting occurred after Trooper Paul G. Richey, 40, was called out to a domestic dispute at 11:34 today, along with Trooper Jason Whitman.
This took place less than a year after 3 officers were shot dead in Pittsburgh, only a month after an officer was shot dead in Penn Hills, and only seven months after the last Pa. state trooper was shot to death (in Nazareth).

In the past year alone, seven Pennsylvania law enforcement officers have been shot to death... what's going on?

That's my hometown. ****ed up stuff. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Nothing ever happens up there...so this is truly shocking.

You can blame mainstreaming the criminals and mentally ill for these deaths along with most other crimes.
