Thanks All! Very helpful! I found it! I didn't realize it was peak ski season and it would be so hard to get a room! There was also a Saint Patricks day parade in Scranton...where I accidently stopped for gas! I had quite the eventful trip! Very nice area though! What's with the wind mills? Never saw a real one before! Pretty cool!

If you are coming from NY or NJ area, I would suggest Rt 84 to Hamlin exit, then that road would take you straight into Waymart. There is a Comfort Inn right at the exit of Rt. 84. The prison is about a 1/2 hr ride from there. It is a nice ride.
Hello I am reading your message about traveling directions to Canaan USP. and you indicated that if you are coming from NY we should take Rte 84 to Hamilin but is it true that you can catch I 80 to Rte 84. Mapquest and Google usually give you so many steps for one direction. Help, looking to drive there really soon. If I can take I 80 I stay on there and catch what to Rte 84
