Default King of Prussia

Hi,
me and my husband decided to move to King of Prussia. It seems like very decent place to live. Are there any neighborhoods that are not so great? Or anything else we should know? Thank you.

Tijana

King of Prussia is a nice area, there are no bad areas to worry about. Its a part of Upper Merion Township and is located on teh edge of Valley Forge National Park. Great central location for suburban Philadlephia.

You have been so helpful, thank you so much. I just don't know is it better to buy a house or build your own?

What price range are you looking at? Thats not the cheapest area around for property. If you are buying land and building your home you may want to consider moving a bit further west.Coventry,Ludwigs Corner,Pottstown, East Vincent etc.. King of Prussia is an area of prime real estate.

We are looking at $300, 000 - $400, 000 price range. If it is a little more, I hope there won't be problems, but around that range. What do you think?

King of Prussia is an older established community theres not much new housing in KOP itself. Anything newer around KOP east towards Philadlephia is going to be in the 500K + range. You probably are going to have to stay west of King of Prussia towards Pottstown and Downingtown to find new housing 300,000-400,000 range. Pottstown and Downingtown areas are beautiful and growing pretty quickly.

This site might help you.

Great mall. My favorite. Largest on the east coast. Fortunately (or maybe unfortunately LOL), I can take a bus from center city. Only the Mall of America is larger. Where do you and your husband work?

Me and my husband are in New Mexico at the moment, but we plan to relocate to KOP!!!We just cannot decide between buying a house or buying a land somewhere and building our own house. I would prefer to build our own, but I think it is hard to find land in KOP?
