I've been reading alot of 1 bedroom apartment rental ads for Media and I see a huge range in price from the mid $600's to about $1,200's per month.

The question here is: Are those 1 bedroom apartments typically priced in the $600's per month any good?

Do I have to go higher (hopefully not much so) to get a good apartment not roach or rodent infested?

Someone that knows this area and the type of apartments there maybe can give me insight if it's viable or not.

Thanks so much for your anticipated responses.

there is an area of media that is considered a bit seedy, if you know what I mean. Your best bet is to keep checking the papers for a duplex with a 1 bedroom available. Most of the apt comlexes will be around 700-800 but usually include heat and water.
