Hi there,

I am wanting to move to the Pensacola area, I currently reside out of state, and finding a job long distance has been quite the challenge, I have had a few business's say that I would have more luck moving to the area first then looking for a job.

How long do you think it will take to find a job in the Pensacola area? (I have warehouse/security/retail exp) but I am not above working in McDonald's if needed to bring in money.

I am a singe father of a 9 year old boy with enough money to tie us by for a couple of months, but ultimately my focus is to make sure there is some sort of money flowing ASAP for my boys well being.

I thank you for your replies.

There are jobs everywhere. As far as pay it depends on your lifestyle and being lucky. It is all about skill if you have it you will get somthing. There is no guarantee of course and i'd say jobs are difficult to find anywhere especially Florida and being paid well.

That is the same thing I am dealing with.... I just moved here and I am looking for a job as well.... the majority of my work experience is in the child care industry as a nanny, and I am not finding any daycares hiring... I did apply on the NAS for a position in the CDC... maybe I am looking in the wrong place??? idk...
